Westchester Soccer Academy (WSA)

Renowned coaching philosophy takes a developmental approach to improving players and helping them to fulfill their soccer potential.

WSA provides your players with a firm grounding in the fundamentals of the game, with emphasis on maximizing ball contact within a structured session. With our professional soccer training we teach the techniques and tactics necessary to construct a highly skilled, possession-based game. This promotes confidence in the player’s own ability, and further facilitates their soccer and overall education. Share your team's history and how to contact the team. You might want to include the team name and a history of the tea; team colors and their meaning;league and league history; awards and trophies; MVP winners; and the names of team officers like the manager, coach, captains and other positions.

The single most important factor of our success is our staff, which includes the following dedicated and highly competent professionals:

Last season WSA had coached 16 teams and provided trainers for 62 sessions for the SYSC (Scarsdale Youth Soccer Club). This was the first season of WSA trainers. This Fall WSA is now coaching 30 teams and are professionally training 88 practices for 41 teams . We have almost doubled after one year with the SYSC. We are very proud to be a part of developing youth players and working with the parent coaches on and off the field. WSA and SYSC have also started the Scarsdale Developmental Program (SDP) for 2nd and 3rd graders. The response has been over whelming with over 120 players. Headed and staffed by Coach Sean Kenny, the SDP is in full gear. The Approach is to welcome younger committed players to an overall soccer experience. Small sided games and functional training for the desired age base. SDP has over 10 coaches involved making it a fully operational program.

WSA will be assisting the FC Westchester Columbus Day Tournament (Sunday October 9th) and The Somers Fall Classic (November 19th) with managing field set-up and post score boards.
